We are not professional writers or speakers, but we are good, honest, down to Earth folk. As a small family of three, we enjoy getting outdoors as much as possible. Whether that is out trail riding and overlanding in our jeep, getting dirt under our nails in the garden, spending a relaxing evening sipping a glass of wine while watching the chickens, DIY remodeling the house, or welding and fabricating on a new project.

A Little More
I (Wendi) have a love and compassion for animals, with a background education in Marine Biology and Zoology. We were owned by an ornery parrot (yellow belly caique) named Dixie, who passed in 2022, we keep numerous chickens, and have a few honeybee hives in the backyard. We live on a small half acre in a rural city and make the most of what we have. We added a human member to our family a few years ago and have been making adjustments in life to better suit her needs, including the creation of this website and our products.
My Background
When I first met Ron, I was living in the concrete jungles of Long Beach, CA, renting a 1 bedroom on the fourth floor of a condo complex. We hit it off, and eventually the work dried up in the area for him, so he returned to his home town. I followed the move shortly after and we've been here ever since. Ron has taught me that there is nothing in life I cannot accomplish if I set my mind to it. I transformed from the naïve city girl, to buying and renovating our home, growing and raising our food (some of it), woodworking, repairing and modifying our vehicles, among many other skills.
